We are looking for an early career engineer to join our Civil and Water team at Bligh Tanner.

+ The Role
We are looking for someone with stormwater and flooding skills, and with broader interests in integrated water management, waterway restoration, environmental engineering and climate change adaptation.
The ideal candidate will have between 3 – 10 years’ experience and have, or be willing to develop, the following capabilities:
• Flood modelling
• Water sensitive urban design
• Stormwater management
• Water balance assessments
• Waterway restoration
• Integrated water management
• Erosion and sediment control
• General civil engineering
+ Selection Criteria
• Strong oral and written communication skills including the ability to explain engineering principles in plain English.
• A passion for design, innovation, and sustainability.
• Civil or environmental engineering degree, strong undergraduate results, and relevant work experience.
• A strong aptitude for technology and software.
+ Salary
We are open to applications from candidates with 3 – 10 years’ experience. A competitive package will be negotiated based on the skills and experience of the candidate and would generally be expected to in the range of $85k to $140k.
