Bligh Tanner has an opportunity for a Structural Engineer with 3+ years’ experience to join our Sydney team.
Bligh Tanner’s work is diverse and challenging, so you will need the appropriate qualifications with evidence of your experience in the design of a variety of projects of different scales and types using a variety of different materials. This is a full-time, permanent position. You will be joining a business dedicated to its people belonging to what we believe to be one of Australia’s most innovative engineering practices.

+ The Role
Our role will include responsibility for the design and delivery of a wide and varied range of projects. You will be given the opportunity to run projects and liaise directly with clients. At Bligh Tanner you will work within a collaborative team, working closely with the Directors and other senior staff.
This role would suit a person that is motivated and passionate about Structural Engineering and design, with a strong work ethic and the desire to deliver quality design on challenging projects.
+ What We’d Like
• Relevant Tertiary Qualifications
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in structural engineering design particularly in Architectural buildings
• Experience in the design of materials including steel, reinforced concrete, post-tensioned concrete, masonry and timber
• Demonstrated expertise in relevant analysis software programs including Spacegass, RAM Concept, RAPT, Strand7 and Inducta software
• Must possess a current Driver’s License
